Add syncro record to your DVD recorder

Here is a neat project I found from my instructables project page. You can see all the newest DIY Live submitted projects at www.diylive.net/index.php/projects. Go join the DIY Live community over at www.instructables.com/diylive. He used a motorolla MC68HC11E9 processor, and made a nice circuit board as you can see above. This is a totally non-invasive process. You don’t have to open your dvd recorder, which is a nice feature. Synchro record makes the dvd recorder start recording from an outside signal. Anyway, check out this cool project.

Allows Synchro record from a set-top box (mine is the Sony terrestrial digital reciever) to a DVD player which dosn’t have syncro record. You can then record programmes automatically by selecting them for record on the set top box with no need to programme the DVD recorder. You will not need to open either your set-top box or DVD recorder so no warantees or contracts are affected.
