4 Watts FM Transmitter

Following the simple transmitter posted days back, I found this schematic that can generate 4 watts transmit power in the FM band. The original design has only a mic input but an audio mixer was added to incorporate a sound source such as a cd player or mp3 player. This audio mixer add-on has given the transmitter versatility, much like a professional Radio Station. You can then set the mixer’s 10K potentiometer halfway and you’ll be broadcasting both your music and your voice. Since the transmitter and the mixer uses 12 volts power, this can easily be incorporated to your car or truck.

An RG58 cable ( 50 ohms ) cable can be used from your transmitter inside the vehicle to your external antenna. This is a good project for broadcasting your music in carparks or while on mobile but just be sure it’s not illegal in your area. LINK
