LED Chaser for Bicycles

I posted a Light Flasher days ago, another good project to impress your friends is this LED Chaser by SWL Homebuilder. The schematic is on the ” LEDs Projects ” section of his site. The circuit uses CD4017 IC to drive the LEDS and LM555 timer. This will make your LED’s light up sequencially to have a chasing effect. You can adjust the speed of the “chasing” thru the 10K potentiometer. Although the project illustrated is bigger, you can make it smaller and compact by placing the LED’s closer to each other and placing it in a smaller enclosure. I made a similar project years back and hanged it at the back of my bikes saddle. Link

This summer I built several LED projects including sequential LED chasers (sequentially left to right) and also “Nite-Rider” style which go (sequentially left-right-left-right-etc).
