    LED Chaser for Bicycles – 18 Lights version

    One of our readers,Gorac,posted an inquiry for a LED chaser longer than the 10 lights I posted days back. You can read about his post on DIY Live Forums. Greg found this site (18 Stage LED Sequencer) by Bill Bowden for a diagram that can accommodate 18 lights using an additional CD4017 chip. The first chip will drive the first 9 LED’s and the additonal chip will drive the other 9. The diagram is simple to build and uses easy to find components.

    3. If I wanted to use this design, but wanted it to reverse at the end (kinght rider style – back and forth), how would I do it??
