Zedomax took a cheap Halloween pitchfork/trident. He took a cheap trident pitchfork, and placed 15 LEDs in it. He then connected each LED to an output of his Cubloc CB220. He is basically using this as a 3×5 array that will let him display letters by lighting the various LEDs. It is a pretty good DIY hack for halloween.
Now, I have to admit that I had no idea what a Cubloc CB220 was, but I looked it up at www.cubloc.com. It is actually a pretty powerful little device. It is a small computer with built in ram, and an EEPROM. It uses the Atmega128, and bundles it into a nice little package. You can program it with BASIC, which is a really easy language. This little device has 16 IO pins, and basically 15 output pins, so that is the reason for the 15 LEDs. Now Zedomax can spell out his name!
