Eflite Extra 260

Well, I have been extremely interested in RC planes and actually that is one of the things that has been taking up so much of my time. I just wanted to share about my newest plane. It is the E-flite Extra 260. This is an amazing plane. It is of course a foamy, but is very well built. This plane only cost around $45, but is comes almost completely built. The elevator, aeilerons, and rudder are already attached. This plane is also an amazing flyer. It is built for 3D flying.

I have to explain a little about 3D flying. This is when you fly the plane around using just pure thrust from the motor. The wings are stalled, and the plane is virtually hanging on the prop. You can hover this plane, do knife edges, as well as harriers, and a whole host of other tricks.

Now for my plane, I have the Park 370 outrunner motor

a Castle Creations Thunderbird 18 ESC, an APC 9×3.8 prop, and a Great planes 3 cell 11.1V 640 mah Lithium Polymer Battery.
I will try to show some pictures of my plane when I get it all built. I currently have 3 planes. One is the Slow Stick, the Second is a Great Planes Turmoil, and the third is this Extra.

Anyway, Check out this awesome plane. You can read all about it on a build thread at my new favorite site www.rcgroups.com

You can watch a video of Devin Mcgrath flying this amazing plane here.
