DIY Convert 35mm to Digital Camera

Well, I could not find much on this project because the original site is no longer available. This guy took an old 35mm minolta camera and converted it to digital. This particular design is of pretty poor quality because the guy used a webcam as his CCD. Yeah, that would work I guess, but it is not that great.

My idea would be to take a disposable digital camera like the dakota digital, and use the contents of it on your camera. The problem would be focusing. You just have to find a digital disposable camera that has an LCD screen, that allows you to look at the picture real time.

Maybe if you had an old cheap digital camera, you could hack it up, and use your nice old manual slr. It would have to be better than a webcam.
