There is a pong clock screen saver that can be downloaded for your personal PC. This actually plays pong, and the score up top is the time in 24 hr format. Every minute the paddle on the right wins, and every hour the paddle on the left wins. If you stick this on an old laptop screen, and mount it on the wall, you can have your own DIY pong clock.
So that Pong Clock is finally available to order. So what do you get for your $240? A custom circuit board, 5×7 (from the looks of it) screen, and the ability to play it.
How about… no. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea, I love the fact that the whole piece is a custom work. But surely we can make one of our own!
Luckily, the software is available as a screen saver that you can download free of charge, albeit with a copyright on the bottom.

wow, that’s pretty ingenious. of course dedicating a computer and a screen just for this task is a bit much… as is the price for a custom board…
That’s pretty nifty
but where is the clock? all i see is a screen on the wall
Doug, you’re just too dumb for pong. Truly.Somebody get this guy a hoop and a little stick or something..
They “upgraded” the screen saver now. It looks nothing like old school pong. How disappointing.
