DIYer tool kit

Make magazine has come out with a new tool kit for the DIYer. I have looked it over and think that it is a pretty good kit to get anyone started doing DIY electronics. The tools in this kit are very similar to the tools I wrote about in my ten most needed tools for the electronics DIYer post.

DIYers toolkit

Included in this kit is
* Soldering Iron
* PCB Vise Panavise “Jr”
* Small (7.8″) DeSoldering Pump
* Soldering Stand with sponge
* 0.5lb 60/40 Solder
* Desoldering Braid
* Wire Cutters/Stripper
* Shear Cutters
* 7-Function 2000-Count Multimeter

You can get it for $99. It may seem a little pricey, but it really is not for the value that you get. It includes a digital multimeter, which is a must for any electronics project. You also get all that you need to solder. If you need help in soldering, check out my DIY soldering post.

Go ahead and get this kit, and start DIYing.
